How wonderfully delicious they are. So red, so juicy, so fragrant, so simply delicious.
Our first purchase at the new Cedar Park Farmer's Market yesterday yeilded a basket of vine ripened home grown tomatoes that took me by surprise when I tasted that first one. So good that we had to cancel our dinner plans for today's Sunday dinner and replace with BLTs. YUM!
Years ago when we lived in Illinios, we enjoyed tomatoes grown in the Mississippi River Bottom black dirt and was spoiled by the flovors of the best tomatoes anywhere. We must try our hand at growing tomatoes again. They are just too good to miss and you just cannot get that flavor at the grocery store.
